Jackson's Birthday Weekend

Lucy and I wanted to help Jackson celebrate his 3rd birthday....so off we headed to Edmonton for the weekend.  I only snapped a few pictures as I was enjoying taking some shots on Letisha's camera with her awesome new lens.  So you will have to check out her blog for more pics (if she ever gets them updated.....hint-hint)

First up, party #1 with a few kids.

Tish had a fun game with butterflies that came out of an elephants trunk and the kids had to catch it with nets.

Sunday night we gave Lucy and Jackson a bath.  They were so hilarious together!  Spashing & laughing.....definitely a moment I want to remember.

Jackson is sooooo sweet with Lucy.  When I put Lucy to bed that evening Jackson said, "Jackson go night-night with baby Lucy?" he didn't want to leave her.  So sweet to see the little bond these two have formed.

It was a wonderful weekend....but I must admit the very best part was when we arrived home on Monday afternoon we called Glenn on speaker-phone at work to say we had arrived safe and sound.  Lucy very clearly and distinctly said "hi" and then a little later, very softly and sweetly she said, "hi da-da". 

Oh, be still my heart - my daughter is learning to talk......
