Some called us crazy for travelling 2700 kilometers with a 2.5 month old....but it was a great trip! Lucy proved to be a good little road-tripper and we got very good at heating up bottles in the truck and highway diaper changes.
First stop was to a parking lot visit with Aimee & Steve who were on they way back to Alberta and then back to California.

Next stop was in Salmon Arm so Lucy could meet her "GGJ". We had a good visit with Grandma who made a beautiful embroidery for Lucy and also made a little belt for her as she thought her jean skirt was too small! She charmed everyone in Grandma's building, one of Grandma's neighbors kept questioning me as to her "asking price??"

On the way to Vancouver we stopped for a quick hike at Bridal Falls.

Awesome visit in Vancouver with Aaron & Michelle and the adorable Bentley and Ethan.

Michelle is a great cook...lots of good help!

Ethan loved to help feed!

All the kids in their jammies!

Next it was off to Vancouver Island. Here we are waiting for the ferry....it was a 7 hour wait!

Stayed with the very hospitable Dempster clan. Here is Laverne with his 1928 Model A - which we all had a ride in and Glenn got to drive!

Cheryl and Shawna were awesome with Lucy! She was thoroughly spoiled by these girls.

We spent a night in Victoria on our own....beautiful harbour!

Last stop was in Kelowna to see Great Grandma Hewlett and Great Uncle Jack. Nice to see Grandma in her new home.

Lucy cuddled right into her Great Grandma.

All in all it was a wonderful two weeks with lots of visiting.....but we must admit it was nice to get home and sleep in our own beds!
